Offered here is one of the most famous golf advertising pieces in existence. “Scottie Dog” was a circa 1920s advertising figure for the North British Twin Dot Golf Ball, and was intended to be a sporting goods store countertop golf ball display. Excellent condition with 'North British" stamp on the golf ball still visible, and wonderful color on the dog's collar. Rare no base version. Stamped "Made in England" on base. 8" x 4" and 11 1/4" tall, and weighs 2 lbs, 10 oz.
