Lot Description  

Offered here is a rare set of the Scottish Acts of Parliament from 1685. These 325+ year old books contain some of the earliest references to the game of golf. This was a thorough set of the laws decreed by King James I, including golf. A wonderful, historic set. Two volumes, leather bound. Good condition. 1st volume is 775 pages. The accompanying Abridgement is hardcover, Good condition, 292 pages.
