1937 Augusta National Postcard
- 12th Hole
Any postcard depicting Augusta National and its famous 12th green in 1937 has
tremendous collectible value, but the postcard offered here is even more
remarkable. This 1937 Augusta National postcard depicts women playing the 12th
hole of the until-recently all-male club. So not only were women allowed to play
Augusta National in the early days of the club, their play was thought highly
enough to use this image to create a postcard, which was a way for golf courses
to advertise back in the 1930's. A spectacular find indeed!
