McEwan Splice Neck Brassie Circa 1890's

            Presented here is an original circa 1890's splice neck brassie by Douglas McEwan of Musselburgh. The brassie measures 43 1/2", and also contains its original shaft, which is stamped "D. McEwan & Son Musselburgh".
