1956 Ladies British Amateur Champions Trophy

        Offered here is the rare opportunity to obtain the actual British Ladies Amateur Trophy that was awarded to Margaret "Wiffi" Smith for winning the 1956 British Ladies Amateur, which has been hosted by the Ladies Golf Union of Great Britain since 1893.

        This is the smaller "Player's Trophy" that was awarded to 1956 Champ Wiffi Smith. The trophy is engraved Memento of LGU Championship Cup. It is 3 3/4" high x 6 3/4" handle to handle and contains 373 grams of sterling silver. Included with this lot is one of Ms. Smith's LPGA Member bag tags.
