        Offered here is a photo and letter signed by Gerald Ford while President regarding the Walter Hagen Invitational, which was held in Ford's native Michigan. Both the photograph and letter, which is significantly on White House letterhead, are exceptional and are signed "Jerry" in 1976. Items signed by Presidents while in office are extremely rare. These items were signed by Gerald Ford for Ken Janke, who was friends with both Ford and Walter Hagen and was the executor of Hagen's estate when he passed.

        This piece is matted to 11 1/2" x 21", and the photo is approximately 8x10. The letter is on White House stationary.
