As you've no doubt seen by now, this Winter Golf Auction by Green Jacket Auctions represents one of the greatest sales of golf photographs in history. From Old Tom Morris & the origins of professional golf to Bobby Jones & the founding of Augusta National, many of the offered photographs are among the finest such examples in the hobby.

        Offered here is an original photograph from the Grand Opening of Augusta National Golf Club in 1933. This is the first time we have ever seen this image, which depicts the editor of TIME Magazine, John Martin, teeing off at Augusta National on the very first day it was open - January 17, 1933.

This original photograph is in excellent condition and measures 6"x8".
