        Offered here is an authentic original photograph from the trophy presentation ceremony at the 1st Ryder Cup in 1927. In this photo, British Team Ryder Cup Captain Ted Ray presents the Ryder Cup trophy to American Captain Walter Hagen at the conclusion of the 1927 Ryder Cup Matches.

        The often flamboyant Walter Hagen appears downright humble in victory next to the looming presence of British legend Ted Ray.

        This is a rare original photo from the inaugural Ryder Cup Matches.

        Beautiful 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" image and condition. The photograph is almost perfect and grades a solid 9.5/10. Reverse has a full paper caption and stamps from Acme and NEA. NEA Stamp is from April 29, 1930.
