Presented here is the actual letter that President Dwight Eisenhower sent to
Gene Sarazen from the White House thanking Sarazen for sending the President a
"putter for slow greens". Eisenhower's letter is on White House stationary and,
amazingly, comes with its original envelope addressed to Gene Sarazen.
Like most Presidential letters,
Eisenhower's signature is pre-printed, and not actually hand signed.
