Ed Dudley's
1929 Pennsylvania Open Gold Medal
In this auction, we have the extreme privilege of offering the personal
collection of the late Ed Dudley. In addition to being a 15 time winner on the
PGA Tour, Dudley is probably best known for being the 1st Head Pro at Augusta
National. Not only was he Head Pro at Augusta, Dudley also competed in every
Masters Tournament from 1934 to 1950. Dudley was also the golf coach for Dwight
Eisenhower, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.
Presented here is Ed Dudley's actual
Winner's gold medal from his 2nd PGA victory, which occurred at the 1929
Pennsylvania Open. The 1929 Pennsylvania Open was the 2nd of Dudley's 15 PGA
Tour victories.
This is an exceedingly rare chance to
own an early PGA winner's gold medal. This 14k gold medal measures 1 1/2" in
diameter.
