Iconic 1939 Ben Hogan

First Ever PGA Tournament Photo

       This is an iconic 1939 photograph showing Ben Hogan with his young wife as he signs his scorecard during his first ever PGA Golf Tournament. He had turned professional a little before but this was his first PGA event. This photograph of a smiling Hogan with his doting wife certainly paints a different portrait of the always-stoic Hogan than we usually see. Condition of this 7x9 photo is quite nice and the image is first rate.
