1930 Bobby Jones British Open Wire Photo

Rare London Photographer

     Iconic 1930 photograph of Bobby Jones as he tees off during the British Open at Hoylake near Liverpool. This rare photograph is stamped from London "Planet News Ltd" and then stamped (filed) by NEA. While images of Jones in and of themselves are not rare, photos from his European Championships taken by local photographers are among the scarcest. Beautiful image in top condition with one small corner crease (upper right). Photo measures 8x10".
