Circa 1900 St. Andrews Ladies Putting

       This is an original circa 1890s-1900s photograph of ladies putting at St. Andrews. This 6 1/8 x 8" photograph appears to depict a women's putting tournament on the St. Andrews Himalayas putting course adjacent to the Old Course. More than 30 golfers and spectators appear in the photo, which beautifully depicts the Royal & Ancient clubhouse and town of St. Andrews in the background. This photograph is mounted to an album page which contains three non-golf photographs on the reverse.
