1937 Augusta National Renovation Photos
from Perry Maxwell
Back in 2009, we had the privilege of offering the personal collection of
photographs of the great golf course designer Perry Maxwell. The photographs
were stored for over 50 years in Maxwell's alphabetized file cabinet of courses
Maxwell had a hand in designing. Included in that collection were these two
original thick-stock photographs from famed Augusta National Golf Club, where
Perry Maxwell re-designed 11 holes in 1937-1938. These photos are from that
renovation. These are high quality, thick cabinet card-esque photos and measure
approximately 8" x 5".
