1977 Augusta National Memorandum

 Regarding the Tragic Death of Clifford Roberts

      Offered here for the very first time is an original internal Augusta National Golf Club Memorandum after the death of Augusta National founder and Chairman Clifford Roberts. This internal memorandum was issued to Clifford Roberts' Executive Secretary Kathryn Murphy by ANGC General Manager Phil Wahl. Murphy has been described by the Augusta Chronicle as "Clifford Roberts' right hand woman", so this must've been a particularly difficult time for her. Kathryn Murphy kept this memorandum her entire life.
