an original circa late 1880s photograph of the great John Ball. John Ball
was one of the greatest golfers of all time. Not only was he the first
Englishman to win Open Championship when he won in 1890, he also won the
British Amateur Championship a record eight (8) times! This is a rare
original photograph of John Ball playing golf. This photograph contains a
handwritten caption: John Ball Jr. Putting Out The 3rd Hole. This
approximately 130 year old photograph measures 6 x 8".
