J.H. Taylor Handwritten Letter

to Bobby Locke's Father

        Presented here is an original J.H. Taylor handwritten letter to Bobby Locke's Father in which the great Taylor congratulates Mr. Locke on the 21 year old Bobby's recent victory. He also mentions that he heard Bobby Locke is turning pro and wishes him well. Let's just say that young Bobby's career ended up going exceedingly well. Eleven years after this letter Bobby Locke won the 1949 Open Championship - a tournament he would go on to win a total of 4 times.

        This 2 sided letter measures 5"x7", and is framed to 11.5" x 14".
