1933 U.S. Open
Program
With their artistic covers, early color photography and incredibly detailed
written accounts, pre-1940 Major Championship Programs provide the ultimate link
to the Golden Age of Golf and have become very popular with collectors.
Presented here is a rare early ‘30’s U.S. Open Program. The 1933 tournament is
famous for being the last time an amateur emerged victorious in the U.S. Open,
as amateur Johnny Goodman fired a second round 66 to capture a lead he wouldn't
relinquish.
