Antique 19th Century

Silver Plated Golf Belt

        This is an original 19th century belt with a golf motif. This belt handcrafted and molded.

        Based on the small size of the belt, this was most likely worn by a youth. Golf has long been encouraged among the young in Scotland. At Gullane, there is a short children's course. On its 1st Tee, a stern notice warns: Adults may only play on this golf course - if accompanied by a child.
