1961 U.S. Amateur Qualifying Medal
(Jack Nicklaus Victory)

This is a rare original sterling silver Qualifying Rounds medal from the 1961 U.S. Amateur sectional qualifying. This medal was awarded to the Low Scorer of the Salt Lake City sectional qualifying, which enabled this medal’s original owner to tee it up at Pebble Beach against a kid from Ohio State that would go on to victory – Jack Nicklaus.
