1916 National Golf Links
Sterling Silver Match Play Trophy 

This is a rare early golf trophy from one of the greatest golf courses in the country, National Golf Links of America. This 5 ½” sterling silver cup was produced by Tiffany, and features a beautiful National Golf Links logo on one side, and is engraved: 

Won by JJ Manning from John Tappin and Edward Jewett, Match Play 1916

This trophy is from only 5 years after National Golf Links was founded, in 1916. Collectors have long clamored for pieces of memorabilia from National Golf Links. Unfortunately, few worthy examples exist, as National Golf Links refuses to host Major Championships.
