1960 US Open Contestant's Badge
The 1960 US Open is one of the most famous golf tournaments in recent history. At Cherry Hills, Arnold Palmer out-dueled a brash young amateur named Jack Nicklaus and an aging star in Ben Hogan. To many, it is considered the greatest golf tournament ever played.
We know that only 150 of these player pins were issued to golfers at the 1960 US Open, but its rarity appears to even exceed that limited number. Though we've sold hundreds of contestant's badges over the years, this is the very first that we've ever located from the 1960 US Open. And what a gem it is!
