Lot Description  

1970 British Open Cachet Collection

Offered here is a large lot of original stamped cachets from all four 1970 Open Championship tournament days, as well as one from the playoff. The 1970 Open Championship saw Jack Nicklaus win the second of his three Claret Jugs at famed St. Andrews in a playoff against Doug Sanders.
