As anyone attempting to collect Masters Champions signed scorecards will attest, finding a Middlecoff example is surprisingly difficult, which has resulted in authentic examples selling for thousands of dollars. The offered example is surely among the finest known examples, as it is a vintage circa late 1970s autograph on a vintage scorecard. The scorecard itself dates to 1978-1980 - the only years where the max yardage at Augusta National was 7040, and the autograph was obtained by the original owner during this time period.
