Chick Evans' Golf Book

Offered here is an original, signed 1921 First Edition of the "Chick Evans' Golf Book".  The interior of this book contains a beautiful 94-year old Chick Evans autograph and is the low number 151 of 999 copies.  Overall the book is in good condition with leather covers and marbled end papers.  Chick Evans, of course, was a caddie who went on to become one of the stars of his era as an amateur golfer.  The Chicago native rose to stardom with his victories in both the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Open in the same year, 1916, a feat only replicated by Bobby Jones since.  It is valued within Gilchrist’s Guide to Golf Collectibles at $1,250.
