Presented here is a rare 1927 First Edition of what many consider the finest golf course architecture book ever written: Golf Architecture In America: Its Strategy And Construction by George C. Thomas.  The book is 342 pages on coated paper, with 149 photographs and drawings, some in color, as well as endpapers depicting famed Pine Valley.  The book is in good condition with front cover marks, a tight binding and spine.  It is listed within Gilchrist's Guide to Golf Collectibles at $1,200.
