Golf, A Royal and Ancient Game

Robert Clark was a publisher and well-known golfer of his day. He collected what was known about golf history in 1875, when golf was gaining popularity, and accounted it all in his storied book, Golf, A Royal and Ancient Game. Here we have a scarce 1875 First Edition, of which there were only 200 produced! It has just a couple condition issues, with the end paper on the book being separated, but present and the spine and binding being somewhat loose. Gilchrist’s Guide to Golf Collectibles lists this edition at $2,500.
