Offered here is a truly special and whimsical golf book, an 1898 First Edition of The Golfer's Alphabet by W.G. Van T. Sutphen and A.B. Frost.  The book features rhymes and poems by Sutphen and wonderful illustrations by legendary artist A.B. Frost, considered unanimously as one of the great illustrators in the "Golden Age of American Illustration".  Frost produced hundreds of paintings and illustrated over 90 books, including this fabulous edition of The Golfer’s Alphabet.  The book is in overall good condition with some slight cover wear.
