1967 Ryder Cup Dinner Menu
At each Ryder Cup, grand dinners are held. Some say that these events are unquestionably the highlight of each Ryder Cup. The dinners are not only attended by a "who's who" of golfing elite, but have also seen the likes of Michael Jordan, numerous U.S. Presidents, and the Royal Family. This is a highly coveted menu from the 1967 Ryder Cup matches held at Champions Golf Club in Houston, TX. The 1967 matches were one for the record book, as the Ben Hogan captained United States team handily defeated the team from Great Britain 23 ½ - 8 ½ … a record margin that still stands to this day. Menus from the Ryder Cup are very sought after and rarely make it into the hands of collectors. Making this particular menu even more value is the fact that it comes from the Warren Orlick estate. Orlick was the 17th President of the PGA of America and surely played a large part in the event.
