Wilcox Bros Silver Plate Tray Lady Golfer
Rare Circa 1900-1910s Wilcox Silver Plate Company coin/jewelry tray with lady golfer in period dress. 3 ½” h x 4” diameter. Ornate tray pattern. Fully marked on the bottom. Per Sprung’s book, Decorative Golf Collectibles, Wilcox Silver Plate Company was established in 1865 in Meriden, Connecticut, and it was one of the original firms comprising the International Silver Company which was formed in 1898. Good condition – no repairs. The tray has some minor rim ‘bends’ which should not be difficult to level out.
