Circa early 1900s Schwarzburg porcelain bowl signed by ‘Brown’, with his typical comical golf scene. 9 ½” diameter. 2” high. Gilt rim. Per Sprung’s book, Decorative Golf Collectibles, ‘Schwarzburg is the trade name for New York & Rudolstadt Pottery, porcelain manufacturers from 1882 to 1932 in Rudolstadt, Germany.’ Maker’s mark on the bottom. Bowls are far rarer than the plates. Very good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs.
