Herman Keiser Signed
Undated Masters Pin Flag
Ok, this is a single-signed Masters Champ flag that is certainly missing from almost everyone's collection. This is a coveted Undated Masters flag that has been autographed by the late Herman Keiser. Keiser signed the flag boldly, and even added the notation 1946 - the year of his Masters victory. Though he passed away in 2003, Keiser's health had been declining for several years, and was confined to a nursing home for the latter stages of his life. He did, however, make a couple late-in-life appearances in a wheelchair at the Masters Tournament. Those fortunate enough to meet Mr. Keiser during those few hours at Augusta represent the only source we have for things such as Keiser autographed scorecards and flags that became popular late in Herman Keiser's life. In fact, that's exactly how this flag came to be. We've included a photo below showing our consignor obtaining this autograph in person at the Masters Tournament in the early 2000s.
