Lot Description  

1954 US Open Contestants Badge

Presented here is an original Contestants Badge from the 1954 U.S. Open, which was won by Ed Furgol at Baltusrol Golf Club.  The ’54 Open was the first to be nationally televised.  It had 164 players that qualified and started play, so this was one of those 164 contestant badges issued to the players.  It is in very good condition.
