Incredibly rare Worthington White golf ball with large round flat studs. The term "large round flat studs" was Worthington's own creation. Though it was seen as their variation/evolution of the bramble, this ball actually proves the fact that this was not a later evolution. The ball contains a patent date of 1899, which places this ball at a time period many years before other variations of the standard bramble. This unused ball is remarkable, and contains about 98% of its original paint.
