Truly exceptional Silver Plate Ink Well from Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club, the 26th oldest Golf Club in the world.  Old Tom Morris, winner of four open championships, was a founding/honorary member of the club. A traditional Scottish links golf course occupying a prime position on the shores of the Firth of Clyde.

This was the Captain's Prize in 1898. Comes with a sterling silver pen without nib. Ink well measures 9 1/2" x 7 3/4" x 7 3/" tall.
