Estelle Page (1907-1983) was one of the great female golfers of the 1930s and 40s. She won the 1937 US Women’s Amateur, finished Runner-Up in 1938, and was also a semi-finalist in 1941 and 1947. She won numerous other tournaments all across the country, including the prestigious Pinehurst North South Championship a record 7 times! She was also a member of the victorious 1938 and 1948 Curtis Cup American teams. In this auction, we are pleased to bring you numerous pieces of memorabilia from Estelle Page’s estate.

Offered here is Estelle Page's 1937 Southern Amateur Championship Runner-Up sterling silver medal. The Southern Amateur is one of the most prestigious women's golf tournaments in the world, and has been around since 1911. This is Page's actual Runner-Up medal from her 2nd place finish behind Miss Dorothy Kirby in 1937 at famed East Lake Country Club in Atlanta. 1 3/8" sterling silver medal, engraved with tournament details on reverse.
