Lot Description  


Offered here is an original 1932 gold medal from the great Jess Sweetser. This gold medal comes from the opening of a golf course on May 28, 1932 at the Crescent Athletic Club Bay Ridge in Brooklyn. The Match was between Jess Sweetser and Klein against Driggs and "Long Jim" Barnes. This outstanding medal has a wonderful image of Bobby Jones on the obverse. This gold medal is 10k, weighs 13.2 grams, and measures 1 5/8" x 1".
