The Henley gutta percha golf ball is one of the most iconic balls ever produced, with above average examples worth about $2,000-$3,000 each. Back in 2004, “Antique Golf Collectibles” by Chuck Furjanic listed a grade 9 of 10 single Henley ball at $2,500. Offered here is quite possibly the greatest Henley find in history; a complete dozen Mint condition original first generation Henleys. Just take a look at these balls, as they are extraordinary. Each single ball by itself would be among the finest examples in the hobby. But offered in this lot are 12 such museum-quality examples in the original box!

The Henley British Union Jack box is also extraordinary. It is dated on the base “Rec’d Sep 26 1900”. The box is separated at one part of the lid, but is otherwise in Very Good condition. In fact, we believe this box alone would sell for $2,000+ at auction.

For golf ball collectors, this likely represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Though we’d love to see this collection stay together, the breakup value must be mentioned, as it’s almost certainly in the tens of thousands of dollars.
