Presented here is a high grade circa 1890 "C. BAIN" line cut mesh gutty golf ball. This ball is exceptional, and contains a strikingly bold Bain stamp. This exact ball is pictured on plate XIII in The Story of the Golf Ball (2003) by Kevin McGimpsey.
