This is one of Arnold Palmer's personal tournament-used clubs - a circa 1960s 7-iron used by the King himself. Collectors are often shocked to learn just how impossible it is to obtain any Arnold Palmer tournament-used clubs. Unlike almost every other golfer in history, Palmer was highly protective of his golf clubs. To this day, his legendary "barn" houses tens of thousands of his clubs, hundreds of his golf bags, and so forth. Pretty much the only verified golf clubs from Arnold Palmer that are in private hands are the few that Palmer donated to the Childen's Miracle Network and a handful of other charities that he supported. This Palmer script iron shows lots of use, as well as loft and lie mending marks, as Palmer was well-known to tinker with his clubs. Palmer also signed the grip in gold Sharpie. 36 3/4".
Letter of Provenance from Arnold Palmer Enterprises stating that the club was a donation to the Children's Miracle Network Charity Auction by Arnold Palmer himself.
