Offered here is one of the most important (and valuable) golf books ever produced. This is the scarce 1890 first edition of Reminiscences of Golf and Golfers by H. Thomas Peter. Beautiful book, with a soft cover red cloth and gilt letteing. The book is in Good to Very Good condition and comes with a custom cloth and leather clam shell case.
The only example of this fine book to sell in recent years was by PBA Galleries in September of last year for $8,400, though that copy did not include a custom clamshell case.
