Offered here is the rare circa 1930 Dunlop Man advertising golf figure. The Dunlop Man was produced as a golf shop counter display for shops that sold Dunlop golf balls. The Dunlop Man stands on a base with the slogan: "We play DUNLOP". Notice also that it has the wooden bottom, a sure sign that it's not a reproduction. This is a high grade example of this highly-desirable piece with nearly all paint remaining. Dunlop Man stands 15.5" tall. Very rarely seen with the original golf clubs, especially in this condition.
