This is the only-known copy of this group photograph from the 1935 Masters Tournament, including eventual tournament winner Gene Sarazen, as well as Johnny Revolta, Johnny Farrell, Jock Hutchison and others! The 1935 Masters Tournament would go down as one of the most famous golf tournaments in history with Gene Sarazen’s double eagle. Yet very few pieces of memorabilia from this tournament exist. This is a fine original photograph from that event. The only other known group photograph from the 1935 Masters is the iconic panoramic photo which fetches $20,000+ at auction.

Though this information has been lost with time, the photograph likely originated from one of the pictured golfers, as the photo includes the handwritten caption: “At the Masters Tournament, Augusta, Ga, April 1935.” The photograph measures 8x10” and has been matted and framed to 18 1/2" x 16 1/2".
