The crown of this 43 1/2" socket head driver is stamped JM BARNES. This is James M. (Long Jim) Barnes - one of the best professional golfers in the 1910 - 1930 era. He won 38 pro events including the first two PGA championships in 1916 and 1919 (no play during WWI), the U.S.Open in 1921 and the British Open in 1925. He was elected to the World Golf Hall Of Fame in 1989. His clubs are scarcer than Jones, Hogan, Nelson, Hagen, Sarazen, and others of that era.
