Offered here is a rare original press photograph of Bobby Jones with his father, Colonel Jones, at Augusta National Golf Club on February  13, 1934. The Jones men were playing golf at Augusta in anticipation of the inaugural Masters Tournament the following month. Or as the press slug on the reverse called it, the "masters' open championship." This rare photograph measures 6" x 8". Stamped on reverse with Associated Press stamp, and includes partial press slug from when this photograph was used for publication.
