In the 1960s, The Masters Tournament Par 3 Contest used to award rare Wedgwood Masters Champions' Dinner Plates. Not to be confused with the more common Lenox Augusta National plates that were issued to ANGC members from 1992 to 1997, these gorgeous Wedgwood plates were produced in approximately the late 1950s through the 60s. They were used as Par 3 Tournament Prizes throughout the 1960s, and as the actual plates used for dinner at the famed Masters Champions' Dinner each year. In previous auctions, even single plates have brought over $3,000.

Since the plates are unmarked as to when they were awarded, those details are usually missing when these rare plates make it to auction. But offered here is the actual plate that was awarded for "Closest to the Pin" at the 1966 Masters Tournament Par 3 Contest Hole #3 to Terry Dill.
