When searching for turn of the century clubs, two of the most famous names are unquestionably Tom Morris and Tom Stewart. The former was the most famous golfer in the world, and the latter was the most celebrated cleek maker for the better part of 4 decades in St Andrews. Offered here is a true gem, and a necessity for any serious golf club collection - a Tom Morris-Tom Stewart iron. This smooth face iron is boldly stamped with Old Tom Morris' familiar oval St Andrews stamp, and also with the famous pipe cleek mark of Tom Stewart. Tom Stewart only produced clubheads, not the full clubs, and in Stewart's early years Old Tom Morris' shop was his biggest client. These dual stamped Morris-Stewart clubs are coveted by collectors.
