Lot Description  

Circa 1951 Staffordshire Open Championship Sterling Silver Trophy - awarded to celebrated English golfer Charlie Ward, who won the European Tour's Vardon Trophy/Order of Merit in 1948 and 1949. Hallmarked Birmingham 1950 by E.W. Haywood. 7 1/2" tall, with golf club missing from the golfer. Hallmarked Birmingham 1950 by E.W. Haywood.
