Beautiful early golf trophy. This 1900 First Prize trophy comes from Montserrat Golf Club in Beverly, Mass. Montserrat Golf Club was an early golf course on the North Shore near Boston that gained regional fame in the early 1900s when President Taft and his son vacationed in the area and spent their days playing golf at Montserrat. Stands 7" tall x 7 1/2" handle to handle.
