Meriden
silver plate flask. 4 1/2” wide by 8” high by 1” thick. Circa 1920
- 30 with engraved period golfing scene on the front. Per Sprung’s
book, Decorative Golf Collectibles, Meriden Silver Plate Company was
established in 1869 in Meriden, Connecticut and was one of the original
firms comprising the International Silver Company which was formed in
1898. Marked on underside of arm holding screw-on cap. Good condition with indentation (not a dent) on the front above the golfing scene which is very common for these.
